Ruth Coleman

Ruth Coleman has twenty-four years experience in the legislative and executive branch of state government with emphasis on natural resource management and policy. She brings expertise in legislative negotiations, advocacy and public relations as well as expertise in administration, public finance, cross-cultural relations, tourism, and public private partnerships. Ruth:

  • retired as the head of the largest U.S. State Park agency with approximately 3300 staff and 1.6 million acres, serving over 65 million visitors annually
  • has an MPA with concentration in environmental policy from Harvard University and
  • received Fran P. Mainella award from Clemson University for outstanding contributions by a woman to natural, cultural or historical resource management.
